With the clock at a hair under 9 seconds to play, Hedo Turkoglu waited a full three or four to make his move and get up a hedo steam, and when his finger-roll missed badly time the Magic had run out of time, and tricks. Now the odious Pistons will not have to make the Chauncey move of playing Billups next game. Detroit seems a shoo-in to the NBA Finals, as the Celtics are glaringly overrated and, if it should be the the Cavs in the Eastern Finals, surely the Pistons learned their lesson last year.
Always fascinating to see which guys want the ball and which don't at the end of a playoff game. Rasheed Wallace meekly set a screen and stepped aside as Tayshaun Prince took the Pistons' big shot of the game. Don't count Orlando out completely -- as long as Rasheed is playing there's always the chance he'll wreck his team through self-implosion.
